Loyal readers of our blog will remember the work we did for Café On The Way, which is located inside the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. We helped the company’s owners, JMJ LLC, with a facility makeover involving the use of counter top wraps, wall banner stripes, menu boards and vinyl graphics for the glass surfaces inside the eatery. In addition to this venue, the company also owns several Wendy’s restaurants. When JMJ LLC decided that it was time to remodel its corporate office, the management team asked us for assistance.

Designing, Manufacturing, and Installing Signs and Graphics for Franchises in Glendale, AZ

After consulting with the client, we worked on multiple product solutions.

Lobby sign. We started with a black acrylic panel backer. Adding a transparent acrylic panel to the front, we installed digital prints to the front of the clear panel’s surface. They spell out the name of the business. Our installers mounted the sign with standoffs.

Wendy’s branding signage. The company’s owners chose to install multiple prints of Wendy’s branding throughout the office. Inside the training facility, we added images and quotes of Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas. Since these are copyrighted and trademarked, we ensured that we followed the corporate branding guidelines set forth by the Wendy’s corporation.

We changed the appearance of this counter top…
…by adding vinyl graphics for a stunning look!

Counter top wrap. Inside the kitchen area, we covered a nondescript counter top with a durable vinyl material that imitates a wood plank finish. It imbues the area with an attractive look.

We Make Franchise Signage a Snap!

Some franchise and franchisors report they have a difficult time finding a sign shop that can undertake their orders. The problems they note have to do with the strict rules corporate offices levy on franchisees. Signage must meet national standards, and this calls for exact measurements, color matches, and mounting techniques. This practice is precision work, and some sign shops simply do not have the workforce and time to deal with the regulations.

For example, if a sign calls for a particular stud mount technique, the installer must work with the wall’s surface to achieve this setup. Occasionally, this calls for a bit of extra labor. If a sign shop has a limited number of installers, they cannot afford to spend the additional time needed for the installation. Instead, they choose to take on jobs where there are no constraints. Our professionals do not have these limitations. We also have top-level equipment that allows for minute color match calibrations to guarantee identical signage. Moreover, our technicians routinely work with the constraints put in place by corporate offices.

Whether these include specialty material requirements, mounting locations or color choices, we get the job done right. Not surprisingly, franchisees like to work with us. When representatives of the corporate office visit the facilities, the local owners can show them around the venues with confidence. If you need any type of sign for one or more franchise locations, or if you have been thinking of changing the atmosphere inside your setting with table or counter wraps, we can help.
