Building a brand can take several twists and turns. Excellent examples include the latest rebranding projects in Scottsdale, AZ, that are changing the face of the local business community. For example, we recently worked with the Alera Group.
Rebranding a Lobby Sign From Benefit Commerce Group to Alera Group
Founded in 2009, the Benefit Commerce Group quickly became a thought leader in employee benefits consulting. Fast-forward to March 2026, when this client rebranded to become Alera Group. When it came time to change the office signage, the client requested our assistance.
We collaborated with the management team to design a rebranded lobby sign that would expertly embrace the company’s new name. For this project, we suggested using Gatorfoam three-dimensional letters to enhance the 3D effect. For the fronts, we applied back-painted acrylic faces. This technique lets us use the brand palette while maintaining the acrylic’s glossy finish.
To install the letters, we used VHB tape, a double-sided acrylic foam tape that replaces the need for liquid adhesives or bolts. The finished project is an excellent example of our successful rebranding projects in Scottsdale, AZ.

- Clune Construction. This client is a Phoenix construction firm that began the process by updating its lobby logo sign. Here, we emphasized a 3D display by mounting the letters with standoffs.
- Rite Way Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. Another Phoenix company, this business used to be known as the Plumbing Medic. Here, we made the signage upgrade by changing the custom fleet wraps.
