There is more to expert window film printing than meets the eye. Check out the project we did for Sun Devil Pool Supply & Service and Hayward Industries. The client needed a refresh of perforated storefront window film in Gilbert, AZ.
Full-Color Laminated, Perforated Window Graphics
Sun Devil Pool Supply & Service and Hayward Industries asked for our help with refreshing their window graphics. We collaborated with the client on the design, production, and installation of full-color imprinted, perforated window film. We added a laminate to protect the material and the perforations and to make the window film easier to clean.
Passersby now immediately notice the stunning sunset scene on the window and door glass, complete with cacti and a beautiful pool. It is clear what type of business customers can find here. Moreover, printed decals at the top of the windows list the services and products this company offers.
What Goes Into the Design of a Successful Perforated Window Graphics Film
The windows of your storefront must withstand intense sunlight. Besides that, printed graphics must appeal to drivers and pedestrians and provide an immediate understanding of your company. Our team has developed several approaches to help our clients succeed.
Eliminate Visual Clutter
Your customers have about three seconds to take in your message. In this brief time, perforated window graphics must communicate what you do and why customers should trust you. Besides that, your contact details should also be easy to notice. For Sun Devil Pool Supply, the large pool image communicates the niche while the printed decals highlight the services. This combination positions the client as a trustworthy expert in their niche.
Desert-Friendly, High-Contrast Colors
Thick, white print on a blue background is an excellent example of a high-contrast color combination that the Arizona sun will not wash out. Thin fonts will not work. Instead, we encourage pool company clients to consider bright blue and white colors. They pop and will remain looking great for years.
Strong Visual Cues
The sparkling pool scene in the background of the window graphics design is an excellent example of a strong visual cue. It immediately reveals the client’s business. Additionally, subtle water ripples add texture. Notice that the image is actually a high-resolution photo that looks great on perforated storefront window film. In Gilbert, you might also add palm trees or cacti to underscore the oasis vibe. In contrast, we typically avoid busy photo collages that make it challenging to get an immediate understanding of the business.
Work With Our Team to Design Your Next Perforated Window Film
We can help you select the right perforation ratio for the graphics. You have several options, but the selection depends largely on how you want your information to appear to passersby. Another important consideration is the font you opt for and the size of the lettering. It has to be readable from a distance. At the same time, we factor in lighting and reflections, which can be a problem depending on how your windows face.
