The Big Apple Pediatric Dentistry team welcomes patients at 1345 East Chandler Boulevard. Specializing in the care of children, the office staff is set up to serve kids of all ages and provide a safe and welcoming clinic for youngsters with special health care needs. Because it is a new office, this client needed a complete set of interior signs, window graphics, and channel letters in Phoenix, AZ, to brand the space and advertise the clinic’s location.
What Signs Do You Need to Outfit a New Office?
If you boil it down, what are the signs you need to advertise your location and imbue it with a brand message that makes you stand out? In simplest terms, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. As a result, our shop always customizes a signage approach to the client we are working with at the time.
That said, there are typically a few signs that everyone needs.
- Building sign. The building sign takes your generic facade and transforms it into your corporate space. Choices range from channel letters to three-dimensional letters without illumination. There are panels, cabinets, and other building markers in between these two.
- Lobby sign. The lobby sign is the first brand message the customer sees when entering the business. It should be on the focal wall, which is typically behind the reception desk or opposite the entrance. There is a wide variety of material, design, and fabrication choices for you to pick from.
- Brand-building signage. Signs that imbue your space with branding also come in varieties. Examples include banners, window graphics, A-frames, wall wraps, and more.
Other signs new offices typically need are wayfinding and ADA-compliant products.
Big Apple Pediatric Dentistry Outfits the New Office
The first sign we did was for the building’s front. After consulting with the client, we put together halo-illuminated, reverse pan channel letters. They were painted in a dark color to create the type of visual contrast reverse-lit channel letters are known for. Next, technicians custom-cut RTA vinyl window graphics. We installed them on the glass panels of the front door. They display the clinic’s logo, name, contact information, and the dentist’s names.
Finally, we fabricated the lobby sign. It consists of half-inch-thick PVC 3D letters. The returns are painted black. The faces are painted in the clinic’s brand colors. Our installers then mounted the individual elements to the wall with VHB tape. This three-dimensional sign is lightweight, which made this installation technique possible. Moreover, look closely, and you will notice that having the sides painted black is a fantastic way of making the green and teal brand colors pop against the light beige backdrop.
