Our shop routinely works with financial institutions on signage that perfectly sums up what the brands stand for. As is the case with so many products, definitive bank and financial signage trends are emerging that show what the next year will likely bring. Here is how you can stay competitive.

Recent Success Stories: Bell Bank and Geneva Financial

Bank and Financial Signage Trends

Our team worked with two popular financial institutions on their signage presentations. Bell Bank needed professional office signage that would identify the location as a friendly neighborhood bank. Because there are branches in Chandler and Phoenix, we worked on signs for both. Examples included reverse-pan channel letters as well as a front and backlit logos, lobby signs, painted Gator foam for non-illuminated lobby signage, and window graphics.

Bank and Financial Lobby Signs

Geneva Financial has offices in Glendale and Chandler. This bank is popular because of its home loan specialization. For this project, our team designed, produced, and installed a comprehensive signage suite package. Items include a 3D letter lobby sign with gradient color changes, window graphics, and a corporate logo. At the other branch, the signage looked a little different. Finally, we added a building sign that would attract foot traffic.

Bank, Mortgage Lender, and Financial Institution Sign Trends for the Upcoming Year

Interior Window Graphic Displays for Banks and Financial Firms

Financial institutions are looking for ways to provide more after-hour self-service options. As a result, some signage changes are in these departments.

Exterior Signs for Banks and Financial Firms

  • ATMs. Because banks are adding on and off-site automated teller machines, there is a need for printed faces for these ATMs. This applies to both those ATMs attached to buildings and those at drive-through locations. Moreover, if your ATM is situated in a different location, this printed information is a powerful branding tool.
  • Vinyl banners and graphics. Retractable banners show the latest interest rates and bank advertising. Building and drive-through banners inform customers about the transactions they can now undertake at machines. Besides that, use vinyl graphics on windows to explain mobile app advantages and encourage downloads.
  • Printed displays with local information. Use graphics to enhance the local brand customer experience. For example, use imprinted panels, Dibond boards, or customized standee displays to inform customers of new services, reduce wait time in line, and redirect foot traffic to online services. Printed graphics may also include flyers for mailing to educate customers about online services.
  • Wayfinding. Now is the time to increase the numbers of exterior wayfinding signs for ATMs, parking lot spaces, and accessible entrances.
  • Interior LED signs. Advertise mortgage rates, investment options, and interest rates for new customers or those looking to open savings accounts.
  • Exterior digital marquees. Bring the info to clients both inside and outside. In this way, you alert those already using a website or app to handle their banking that there is a new promotion happening.
