Maricopa High School is a college and career preparatory academy. Located at 45012 West Honeycutt Avenue, this school is the home of the Rams. This football team is successful and greatly enhances school pride. When it came time to find a sponsor to put its name on the football scoreboard, it it did not take long for Ace Hardware to step up to the plate. Located at 21542 North John Wayne Parkway, the company has a history of being a loyal corporate citizen with an eye on going green and supporting local organizations.
Since the specialists at Spotlight Signs and Imaging Solutions had previously worked with Chandler High School, we got the call to work on the scoreboard sign. We collaborated with Maricopa High School administrators to design a sign that would then display Ace Hardware’s name and logo for the next few years. Our graphic artists custom-designed the look. Mounted to a two feet by 20 feet aluminum panel, we created a full-color laminated print that would fit onto the board. It shows off the rams mascot and name at the top as well as the Ace Hardware logo and lettering at the bottom.
