“That is a great question; we get it asked frequently. I’ll be honest with you: it’s the most relevant for any vinyl that will be outdoors. Especially in the sun, in the weather, and in the elements. If it’s indoors, it’s less of an issue.
When it’s outside, on a vehicle, for instance, as long as it’s going to be on the sides, the vertical surfaces of a car, if it’s a premium cast vinyl, you will probably get five to seven years out of a wrap like this. If you’re putting the vinyl on a horizontal surface, on your hood, or your roof, you’re going to get three to four years out of it before you start seeing it turn black.
A premium vinyl wrap outdoors is going to last you five to seven years. If it’s on a horizontal surface, you’re going to get less time out of that.
