The Radford Racing School’s garage is located at 20000 South Maricopa Road. There, drivers test their mettle at Dodge’s official high-performance driving school. They select from more than 80 performance vehicles before going down the tricked-out track. Recently, our sign shop had the opportunity to assist with some brand-building custom cut graphics for F4 racing cars in Chandler, AZ.
What are F4 Racing Cars?
Formula 4 is an open-wheel race car class. The vehicle on hand is the Ligier JS. SCCA Pro Racing declared it the exclusive model for the F4 U.S. Championship. Junior drivers typically flock to these events. In response, the school has designed a 3-to-1 student to instructor class that gives each participant 80% seat time.

The school needed us to design, produce, and install custom-cut gold graphics that would hug the lines of the F4 and contrast nicely with the vehicle’s black body. Because these graphics were to be placed on different parts of the race car, we needed to pick the correct vinyl for each part of the project.
Next, our technicians took measurements of the installation locations. Doing so eliminated any sizing errors and ensured that the framed graphics were the right size for a perfect installation. After printing the stickers according to the specs, we cut them and prepared the car for the installation. Our technicians then applied the vinyl. You will notice that it looks perfect as if it were painted on.
