ElectraMeccanica is a returning client. Previously, Spotlight Signs and Imaging Solutions designed, produced, and installed this client’s commercial and personal electric vehicle wraps. Another project we took on consisted of custom-cut vehicle graphics. When the team at ElectraMeccanica contacted us this time, they needed electric vehicle graphics in Mesa, AZ, for one of their customers, the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee.
ElectraMeccanica Models Its Brand with 12 Customer Vehicles
The Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee needed 12 electric vehicles. They showcase the Committee’s activities while underscoring our client’s business. The custom electric vehicle graphics highlight that the cars used run on electricity. Moreover, they identify the courtesy vehicles the Committee uses.
The base colors for the vehicle vary. There are white and black cars. We mirrored the design of the graphics with the color display in mind. While the main eye-catcher is the Committee’s name and logo, there are also client mentions. The stylish lines of the cars work perfectly with the images we put together.
Co-Branding Makes a Company Stand Out
ElectraMeccanica is an innovator in the electric vehicle field. Graphic visual solutions for these electric vehicles combine this company’s well-known logo with the customer’s brand message. This process of co-branding is already standard in the retail sector. You often see grocery stores and other venues feature their brand message next to the brands of the most popular products.
It is an excellent advertising tool because the client passively advertises and brands while the customer actively stands out and is seen for their products and services. Ideally, another event organizer will take notice of the courtesy vehicles and reach out to ElectraMeccanica for a future event. The client might offer to handle the vehicle wraps or graphics at that time, and the brand story continues.
Are Custom Vehicle Graphics for Electric Vehicles Different from Vehicle Wraps and Decals for Gasoline-Powered Cars?
Differences focus mainly on the design options for electric vehicles. Due to their power source, manufacturers have developed new car designs that differ considerably from combustion vehicles because they must contain a motor and a gasoline tank. It gives the carmaker freedom to make vehicles for niche-specific events and purposes.
Hand in hand with these design differences is the need for a different approach to vehicle decals. Electric vehicle graphics frequently lack the templates that many wrap designers rely on. It creates extra work for the graphic designer, which is why some sign shops shy away from these projects.
Of course, Spotlight Signs and Imaging Solutions helps you get noticed with electric vehicle graphics in Mesa, AZ. We welcome the opportunity to custom-design a graphics package for any vehicle, no matter how large or small it might be. And, because we do our graphic design in-house, we do not have to rely on third parties to put together a set of specs.
