As a NextSpace Partner, our team was asked to develop a signage display for the company’s 32,000-square-foot showroom in Scottsdale. We divided the task into two projects. First, we focused on entrance window graphics and reverse pan channel letters that would be Scottsdale customers’ first interaction with the NextSpace brand.
What are Reverse Pan Channel Letters?
When our clients require an elegant, innovative, and sure-to-get-attention building sign, we recommend reverse pan channel letters. These aluminum letters illuminate with hidden LEDs for a stunning halo effect, which we frequently refer to in the trade as halo-lit channel letters. They are ideal for the steady Arizona sunshine and higher temperatures.
For this project, our technicians shaped the aluminum letters to match the client’s font. We painted the fronts white. For the logo display, which is part of the lettering, our technicians printed the gradient color changes on vinyl and applied them to the letter’s front.
Next, we focused on mounting the products. Look closely, and you will notice that we installed the letters with spacers. Doing so is critical for halo-lit lettering because it allows the illumination to reflect off the wall surface. In this way, we can also adjust the halo itself. Do you want a very narrow halo or one that is broad but lacks some definition? Depending on your brand message, either approach has merit.
