Now located at 4940 East Beverly Road, Turning Point USA moved in and realized the space was short on signage. They determined that dimensional letters in this Phoenix space would be ideal. Could our team help them? Of course!
3D Letters Label Interior Spaces While Acknowledging Supporters
We discussed the need for signage with the client. They wanted 3D letters for the conference room, lounge, and the Freedom Café. Our graphic artist assisted with designing the look, which involves black and brushed metal letters. Our team produced and installed these products to look attractive, effectively brand the space, and assist visitors with wayfinding.
What are Dimensional Letters Anyway?
In contrast to printed wall graphics, dimensional letters jut out from the wall. The three-dimensional design is an excellent way to have logos and lettering stand out. You have plenty of options when you want to advertise or brand with these products.
- Gatorfoam. Foam is an excellent material to consider for interior 3D letters. We can paint them or add acrylic or metallic facings. Moreover, foam is the best solution when you want to display letters with a depth of up to three inches.
- PVC or vinyl. For dimensional letters with reduced depths, PVC and vinyl are ideal. Besides that, these types of 3D letters can be painted in all colors and come with a matte finish. They look fun and are ideal for wayfinding.
- Acrylic. One of the most popular materials for dimensional letter lobby signs is acrylic. It mimics glass, but it is not as brittle. We can manufacture the product to have a glossy or matte finish. Also, it is possible to paint the material in any color. This material works well for 3D signs with a depth of up to one inch.
Three-Dimensional Letters are Also Good Options for Building Signs
So far, we have discussed three-dimensional letters on Phoenix offices, where they serve as lobby or wayfinding signs. However, 3D displays also work exceptionally well on the facade of your building. The most famous of these are channel letters. Everyone has seen them. These 3D letter frequently have illumination. Most favor front-lit signage; however, reverse-lit (or halo-lit) three-dimensional building letters are becoming more popular.
We also work with outdoor-rated foam specifically manufactured for facade installation. Other materials for unlit 3D letters are acrylic and metal. Aluminum is a good choice because it is lightweight, a consideration for many older buildings.
Dimensional Letters are Excellent Choices for the Exterior and Interior
There is so much you can accomplish with dimensional letters. Adjust the depths within the same display, and you can create the illusion of movement. Also, 3D letters work well for mixed-media displays. Combining acrylic, metal, and other materials can be a unique way of showcasing your brand.
