Sungrow Opens a New Office in Tempe and Requests Custom Three-Dimensional Signage and Lettering
Sungrow is a returning client. We initially collaborated with the company several years ago when it needed exterior and interior signage in Phoenix. As soon as the client decided to open a new location in Tempe, the management team asked us to handle the interior 3D letters and graphics for that location as well. For this project, we designed, produced, and installed three distinct signage solutions.
- Timeline display. The timeline uses a large wall surface to chronicle the company’s 28 years of energy innovation. We combined printed vinyl letters with three-dimensional, acrylic sign elements.
- Lobby sign. The client requested a 3D panel to which we mounted three-dimensional letters. The combination of these three-dimensional pieces creates a stunning display of light and shadow, along with the company’s branding details.
- Room IDs. Labeling the various rooms of the space was a snap with the client’s idea of featuring dimensional acrylic letters and symbols. These add a contemporary look and feel to the space, which is perfectly in keeping with the client’s branding.
Interior 3D Letters and Vinyl Graphics Brand Contemporary Office Spaces
Have you noticed that the combination of three-dimensional and printed elements is becoming increasingly common in office and similar spaces? Sure, these materials and design styles complement one another. But what exactly has turned this combination into a brand-building powerhouse?
- Visual depth through layering. By their very nature, 3D letters add texture and dimension to any sign. It gives the product a premium feel, which is critical for logos and focal wall displays. Printed vinyl on its own offers opportunities for colors, background designs, and supporting lettering that tie the 3D display together. Layering the materials engages the visitor’s imagination.
- Sign flexibility. If you anticipate making changes to some elements down the line, the combination of three-dimensional letters and printed vinyl gives you the flexibility you need to make it happen. With the lettering remaining, we can switch out the vinyl letters or images.
- Boost brand recognition. Three-dimensional letters and logo pieces jut out from the wall, often casting shadows on the displays. Anything that stands out in this way commands attention. When paired with flat-printed letters, it creates a consistent brand identity with superior visual appeal.
