The AZ Wall Project seeks to bring a scaled replica of Washington’s Vietnam Wall to Arizona. The organization also hosts “welcome home” events for troops who are returning from a tour of duty. The group recently established a storefront at the Tempe Marketplace (across from Barnes and Noble) which offers displays and activities for children and adults. When the organization was in need of window graphics for the Tempe Marketplace location, its team contacted the signage pros at Spotlight Signs and Imaging Solutions.
Spotlight Signs Donates Signage Products to the AZ Wall Project
We were honored to be asked to be a part of the AZ Wall Project. We worked with Chairperson Lisa Rigler, with whom we already have a working relationship and Chris LaBelle. The group needed window graphics as well as interior prints. The team told us that they would handle the installation of the artwork.
We created attractive die-cut graphics that show off patriotic colors as well as the name of the organization. They display on the doors. Also showing on the doors are the phone number and website address for the group. The storefront now impresses with its professional signage setup as well as the balancing of the various graphics and style elements.
A Small Way of Giving Back to Those Who Gave So Much
The AZ Wall Project along with Operation Welcome Home are doing great work in the community to recognize and help those who have bravely served their country. Spotlight Signs and Imaging Solutions is happy to help these causes and give back to the community and recognize our Veterans for their service.
Working with Community and Non-profit Organizations
Being an involved member of the community is an important aspect of doing business. After all, we are not just here to help the business community present their venues with outstanding signage products. We also like to be corporate citizens that actively work with non-profit groups.
By the way, did you know that we also work with members of the community who intend to donate signage to their causes? Long-time readers of this blog will remember our collaboration with Lt. Col. Gary Jones who donated classroom signage for Chandler High School’s ROTC program. This signage product is now making a huge difference for learners at the venue.
