Mixed Media Signs Look Great and Draw the Eye
Mixed media refers to the combination of different sign-making materials. It is not a new trend; however, it is gaining popularity. For this sign, we combined 3D letters with a logo board. The construction of the sign started with a clear acrylic panel. Next, our technicians cut the firm’s lettering in its unique font presentation from Gatorfoam.
With all the pieces now completed, we spaced the lettering to take up the appropriate setup on the panel. After painting them, we attached them. The final step for this sign was the installation with brushed aluminum standoffs. The glossy acrylic and the matte black lettering juxtapose beautifully!
Next, our shop fabricated a second sign. This one is features white lettering on a black surface. To achieve this look without obstructing the glossy finish of the acrylic, we started with a transparent sheet, cut it to size, and then placed white and white vinyl on the back. We then installed this sign with standoffs just like the first one.
Multiple Lobby Signs Permeate Your Space with a Brand Message
Placing a lobby sign on the focal wall of your reception area makes sense. It greets the visiting customer, reaffirms the company’s brand message, and sets the tone for the interactions that the consumer expects. However, you do not have to limit yourself to just one sign. For example, companies that regularly use their conference rooms can also benefit from having a lobby sign mounted there.
In this case, the customer in a meeting will consistently face the brand message. Similarly, this sign makes an excellent backdrop for online conferences. Companies have also begun placing smaller versions of lobby signs on doors in addition to suite signage. If your property management company limits your customization of the suite sign, adding the door sign makes sense.
