The Ironwood Church at 8635 East Pecos Road had invested in a new kids’ room at the facility. To finish its presentation, the client asked our team to design, produce, and install a contemporary hanging acrylic sign in Mesa, AZ.
Indoor Panel Sign Gives a New Space a Contemporary, Welcoming Ambiance
Known as the Ironwood Kids, the children’s ministry is a vibrant part of this congregation. After preparing a new space for the youngsters, the only thing that needs to be added would be a welcoming signage solution. Therefore, after looking at the location, designing, producing, and installing an indoor hanging acrylic sign in this Mesa church building made sense.
Acrylic mimics the great look of glass, but it has none of the material’s brittleness. This quality makes it a safe solution for the children’s area. To get the lettering just right, we installed an etched vinyl overlay that spells out the ministry’s name and features decorative elements. Finally, our installers mounted the acrylic panel sign with strong hooks and wires into the overhead ceiling beams.
The finished product helps the room come together, brands the venue, and creates a welcoming mood.
Top Three Reasons for Churches to Invest in Signs on the Inside
- Create a welcoming environment. Well-placed, clear signs create a welcoming and hospitable environment. They make visitors feel comfortable and at ease because these products reduce anxiety about where to go and what to do.
- Reinforce Church values and mission. Inspirational or thematic signs reinforce a church’s values, mission, and message. For example, scripture verses, inspirational quotes, and reminders of the church’s mission enhance the spiritual atmosphere.
- Guide and direct. Wayfinding signs direct congregants and visitors to various parts of the church, such as restrooms, offices, nurseries, classrooms, and fellowship halls. It is particularly helpful for newcomers or guests who may need to familiarize themselves with the venue’s layout.
Why Choose Acrylic as the Material for Your Next Indoor Signage?
Our client decided on a hanging acrylic sign. It is durable and easy to clean. Most importantly, it is safe around children since it will not crack or shatter. However, there are additional reasons to consider acrylic for your next signage setup.
Because there is a good chance that a wayfinding sign at eye height is touched, acrylic is the best option. It cleans up quickly and looks like new for years to come. And, in the case of ADA-compliance signage needs, the material is ideally suited for the addition of Braille II as well as your color contrast needs.
