The Town of Gilbert had a new project for our team: custom trail signage for the Riparian Preserve. Located at 2757 East Guadalupe Road, it is a fantastic 110-acre wetland with hiking trails, ponds, and the popular dino dig for the kids. Customizable trail signage would go on the Pollinator Garden Trail and educate the public with interesting nature facts.
The Town of Gilbert is a Returning Client
Our team has collaborated with the Town of Gilbert on various other occasions. Examples include precision-tooled bronze plaques for the mayor’s office’s main chamber, rule and regulation signs for Circle G Park and Veterans Parks, as well as various signs for the Cactus Yards. Among these products were mesh fence banners and a dimensional building sign.
Durable Outdoor Signs That are Safe and Look Great
Because the town wanted to promote pollinators on the trails, we designed full-color prints with vibrant tones that would catch the eye. The wide-format signage displays have rounded corners to be safe around children. And because we wanted the products to continue looking great for a long time, we treated the trail markers with an anti-graffiti laminate.
A Closer Look at Anti-Graffiti Laminates
Anti-graffiti laminates protect your signage investment. We add this laminate as a layer on your printed graphics. You can only tell it is there once you have a sign defaced with spray paint or a permanent marker and want to remove it. Because vandalism can be a problem in public places, the laminate allows you to clean up the offensive scribbles with a basic solvent. Anti-graffiti treatment protects your signs, keeps them looking great, and prevents you from displaying messages you do not want.
Our clients frequently request this laminate when ordering signs for transit areas, wayfinding in crowded places, and interpretive products on trails, museums, and nature centers. Beyond these signs, real estate clients like to add the laminate to their “For Rent” or “For Sale” signs because a vandalized sign does not make a good first impression of a neighborhood. Mall managers often request it when putting up barricade graphics.
