We recently had the privilege to work with the Blessed Is She Catholic sisterhood. Founded in the Diocese of Phoenix, the group maintains a shop at 400 South Clark Drive. The venue’s manager asked us to use the group’s chosen font to create a dimensional letter custom lobby sign in Tempe, AZ, to welcome guests.
Beautifully Flat-Cut Letters Underscore the Sisterhood’s Mission
This client did not want a flashy sign. For them, customization meant a display that focused attention on the sisterhood’s mission. We designed a three-dimensional sign that we flat-cut from quarter-inch-thick metal. With a nod to the client’s online persona, we painted it black.
When it came time to install the sign on the focal wall, our technicians used short standoffs that allowed us to work with the texture of the surface. The finished product is beautiful, embraces the organization’s mission, and allows instant recognition by those who have interacted with the group online.
Spotlight Signs and Imaging Solutions Specializes in 3D Letters and Logos
It is fair to say that three-dimensional signs make up a large portion of our products. We have taken design and manufacturing techniques to new heights, which allows us to offer the types of products that others may not be able to put together.
- Material selection. You already know we use stainless steel, aluminum, copper, or Cor-Ten steel. However, we also work with PVC, acrylic, sign foam, and high-density urethane. Your brand story is an integral element in selecting a suitable material.
- Manufacturing methods. Cutting flat letters is elegant and ideal for following the font you have chosen for your corporate persona. However, we can also sandblast a panel, engrave a plaque, or work with manufactured letters that bring rounded edges and fronts to the display. Additionally, we can add LEDs and textures through layering.
- Colors and finishes. Choose from your corporate color palette, opt for imprinted vinyl overlays, or pick acrylic or metallic laminates. Moreover, there are satin, matte, or polished finishes that each will affect the space differently.
Another area of specialization is the installation of the sign. Standoffs are attractive but not the only choice. For letters, we can also explore flush mount options. If you choose a logo board, consider using airplane cables to make an avant-garde statement.
