A returning client, Data Link, asked our team to help brand their new vehicles. After discussing the options, the company decided to proceed with full wraps on its Ford Transits in Chandler. What does this look like? Check it out!
Work Van Wraps Advertise and Brand Around the Clock
The Ford Transit is a workhorse. It easily transports cargo and passengers. Work vans are ideally suited for hauling materials and anything a contractor might need. Since Data Link assists its customers with building security operations, video surveillance, and smart technologies, they benefit from the space the vans offer. (We had previously helped this client with individual tenant signage in Chandler.) Now was the time for fleet vehicle graphics.
The client specified wraps featuring white, red, and black in keeping with the brand’s color palette. We spelled out the company’s name, contact details, and a brief menu of services. The color combination makes the vans highly noticeable on the road. Besides that, they are now ideally suited for advertising the business at a worksite.
Is it Cheaper to Wrap or Paint a Work Van?
In general, full vinyl wraps are more budget-friendly than good-quality paint jobs. Of course, there are other downsides to painting. For starters, the color may fade or chip quickly, depending on where you park the van. Additionally, a full or partial van wrap is ideally suited to customization. Specify anything from lifelike graphics to gradient color changes.
Can I Wash a Wrapped Van?
Yes, you can easily wash a van that is wrapped. We recommend hand-washing the vehicle in the shade. Once every two weeks is ideal. Of course, you can clean it more frequently if needed. It is essential to avoid the high-pressure automatic car washes. They can damage the wrap’s edges.
How Much Does it Cost to Wrap a Ford Transit Van?
The cost of a Ford Transit van wrap depends on the display you choose. Generally, we offer three choices.
- Full wrap. A full wrap covers the van’s entirety except for the windows and tires. It offers you the largest possible surface for displaying your advertising and branding messages. That said, it is also the most expensive wrap setup.
- Partial wrap. If you specify 25%-75% vehicle coverage with vinyl, you will spend considerably less. It is noteworthy that our graphic artist can design a partial wrap that mimics a full wrap using the vehicle’s base color.
- Vehicle graphics. The least expensive option consists of vehicle graphics and lettering. They typically cover less than 25% of the vehicle and are very affordable.
