“What is the best type of vinyl wrap? It’s a great question. I’m Joe with Spotlight Signs and Imaging Solutions, where we help YOU get noticed.

So, the answer to that question really depends on if you’re outside in an environment like this with a lot of sun. Look at this great mailbox wrap; this is where you want to use your best and highest-quality vinyl. The reason is that it’s getting beat up by the sun all day long. The rain, the weather, whatever it might be, premium cast vinyl is going to give you a life of probably five to seven years in the Arizona sun.

A lower-quality vinyl, sometimes like calendared vinyl, which may be appropriate indoors, will have about a year or two of life out here. And you’re not going to be happy with that unless you plan on moving soon.

So, if you don’t care about moving soon and if you want a high-quality wrap, cast vinyl is going to be your answer for outdoor applications.
