Our team has a lot of history with the Cactus Yards. Several years ago, we put together a dimensional building sign, large mesh banners, a Wrigley Field entrance sign, site maps and rules, and other welcome signs. A couple of years later, the Cactus Yards were named National Complex of the Year, with the signage contributing to a positive impression. When the client just recently needed a signage refresh in Gilbert, we were on hand to assist with the project. Take a look!

Sign Renovation In Gilbert

What is a Signage Refresh?

Unlike an initial order, which involves putting together signs for the first time, a signage refresh involves updating or modernizing existing signs. The goal is not to replace all style elements or signage parts but to improve branding, compliance, and usefulness.

Sign Replacement In GilbertA typical refresh may include:

  • Graphics updates for new logos, colors, services, or taglines.
  • Branding compliance updates after a rebranding.
  • Sign refacing for cabinets.
  • Repairing and cleaning parts to restore faded signage.
  • Vinyl overlay replacement or repainting of dimensional letters.
  • Lighting updates or repairs, including LED retrofits or part replacements.
  • Anti-graffiti laminate application when needed.

Sign Refurbishing In GilbertWho Needs Sign Renovations?

The signage refresh in Gilbert was for the City. However, many businesses also request sign refurbishing. What does this look like?

The property management company for the Vantage Point Apartments requested a monument sign refurbishing in Gilbert. The client had an attractive, structurally sound monument, but the painted-on 2D lettering made the sign look dated. We refreshed the sign by repainting the product and adding 3D letters, giving the monument a contemporary look. This small change significantly upgrades the apartment complex’s curb appeal.

Another sign refurbishing had us go to Scottsdale. There, our client had an excellent 3D building letter setup. Unfortunately, the color had worn so much that it was hard to read the message even from a few feet away. Our technicians collaborated with the client to select a more suitable color palette, removed and cleaned the lettering, repainted it, and reinstalled it. The difference in the before and after look is significant.
