The ASR Construction Group operates from its offices at 481 East Baseline Road. When customers visit the experts at the location, they frequently use a conference room. Because some negotiations are confidential, the client asked our shop to put together customized vinyl for privacy in Gilbert, AZ, and cover the window that lets people see in.
A Contemporary Interior vs. Privacy Concerns
Contemporary office spaces feature plenty of glass. There are large windows in office walls facing hallways and the lobby. In some areas, one or more conference room walls consist of glass from floor to ceiling. While the design looks chic, it does make confidentiality a challenge. Etched and frosted vinyl graphics are the solutions.
Choosing Privacy without Compromising Elegance
Some office managers try to solve the problem with window treatments, which are difficult to keep clean and dust-free, or plants, which are maintenance intensive. However, these solutions are not suitable for a long-term setup. In contrast, privacy vinyl is an excellent option for offices, no matter what the interior decor might be.
For ASR Construction, we began the design with etched vinyl covering most of the glass panel. Next, we added a second layer of black and red vinyl to the logo portion. The resulting product is a fully custom-made window treatment that doubles as a solid brand-building tool. Moreover, it advertises the company’s name and logo, which is an excellent method of boosting name recognition.
After a professional installation, this setup will last a long time and will not need dusting (or watering).
Not Your Typical Etched and Frosted Window Graphics
You are likely already familiar with the frosted vinyl covering most of the glass. Sometimes, clients ask us to add decorative stripes that we cut out of the material to reveal the glass, which gives the pane a professionally-etched appearance. That said, there are additional options.
- Color print. In addition to cutting letters and numerous out of the vinyl, we can also print them on the material. It maintains the good looks of the frosted appearance but breaks up the space with a brand-centric display.
- Colorful vinyl. Although gray is the most popular color, it is not the only option. If there is another hue that fits in perfectly with your corporate color palette or interior decor, you can have it installed for privacy purposes.
- Design artistry. For some office spaces, using geometric shapes is a better choice. They look attractive, can underscore your brand message, and still provide the privacy you need.
