Doctor Valentina Leonett recently reached out to our shop. She is opening New Tempo Family Dental at 2072 East Southern Avenue. As any company opening its doors for the first time, the clinic needed fully customized commercial signs for a new business in Tempe, AZ.
Meeting New Businesses’ Signage Needs
Our team discussed the clinic’s immediate signage needs. The client determined that wayfinding, advertising, and brand building were the immediate needs. We suggested three commercial signs.
- Suite sign. As patients walk up to the door, the first sign they see is the suite ID. Rather than a standard sign, we designed, fabricated, and installed a plaque that identifies the clinic’s name, features the logo, introduces the dentist, and underscores the specialty. The color palette complements the wood exterior and echoes the white of the window graphics.
- Window graphics. Brand-building and wayfinding are rolled into one with the window graphics. They expand on the suite sign by offering the clinic’s phone number and advertising that Spanish language service is available. The combination between the suite sign and the window letters is ideal.
- Lobby sign. Once patients enter, they are greeted by a stunningly beautiful lobby sign. It is a dimensional setup that features Gatorfoam. For the dual color presentation, complete with gradient change, our technicians printed a vinyl laminate. The look is professional, perfectly brand centered, and budget-friendly.
The Common Misconception: Signs are Expensive
New business owners frequently dread the part where they select signage. They have been led to believe you must spend a mint on the needed signage. However, with the advances in sign making, material usage, and printing capabilities, it is now possible to mimic the much more expensive signs for pennies on the dollar.
- Acrylic. Acrylic is an excellent stand-in for glass. It looks chic and can give off the illusion that your signage is made from the much more expensive and less durable glass.
- Vinyl. When you have floor-to-ceiling glass panels in your conference room or office, we can treat them with frosted and etched vinyl. It looks as if you had the glass professionally treated at the factory. Of course, you only pay a fraction of the price.
- Foam. Sign foam is an excellent material for virtually any need. Gatorfoam is suitable for indoor displays. With an overlay or laminate, we can make the sign look like a much more expensive one. On the exterior, specialty foam products let us make anything from 3D building letters to monument signs.
