Located at 857 East Warner Road, Sanfratello’s Pizza is a Chicago original. There, the pizzeria opened in 1969 and remained a fixture in the neighborhood. Adding Exterior and Interior Signage!
We met with local owner Scott Dunnett and Joe Sanfratello and learned more about Sanfratello’s franchise. We received samples of the color schemes, logo setup and graphics that the company has on file. In addition, we worked with the owner to work out the signage package that would allow the venue to open while creating quite a buzz. We started with the exterior channel letter and lightbox cabinet combination. It displays the company’s name and tagline as well as the smaller logo.
A “now open” banner offers a phone number as well as vibrant colors to let folks know that this eatery would now be ready to welcome those who want to taste real pizza. The already existing monument sign on the exterior received the Sanfratello’s notation, which now rubs elbows with the other companies – as well as the competition – that are situated in the shopping center. On the inside, there are posters, which display some food choices in bold colors. They are appetizing and help guests to visualize the selection they might make.
A menu board provides easy-to-read information that also brands with the company’s name and tag line. Another poster retells Sanfratello’s story. It transports hungry guests back to a time when can openers and microwaves were not staples in the restaurant trade. It also brands this restaurant, which is a must for a new eatery opening up in a shopping center where already there is another pizza franchise in place.
